< CAR PARK REPORT Car Park Report Appendix 2a Terms of Reference High Street Car Park Extension and Refurbishment Committee Draft 1 – 9TH Feb 2014 Background The complexity and issues surrounding the High Street car park works together with previous experience from the hub project demand that a separate committee be established to manage the project from inception to completion. Committee Members The following councillors were elected to the committee: Chairman: John Regan Vice Chairman: Mike Sherwen Members: Kimmi Crosby, Rosemary Gatwood, Jose Hales, Bob Tulloch Governance The High Street Car Park Committee (HSCPC) is sub ordinate to the Planning Committee and the car park will be a standing agenda item on the Planning Committee agenda. All financial approvals for the project will be delegated via the Parish Council F&G Committee The requirements for the project will be agreed by the full Parish Council HSCPC is responsible for all Technical details and specification All tenders to be approved by the Parish Council prior to award The Parish Council will appoint a Project Manager who will be responsible to the HSPC for the complete delivery of the project from inception to Completion All public relations issues identified will be agreed and managed via the Parish Clerk The Parish Council will seek to utilise any source of external funding where a suitable source is identified by the HSPCC RETURN TO THE TOP < CAR PARK REPORT
